Plot K1 (Roberts Close) site surveys

McAleer and Rushe, on behalf of British land, expect to begin site survey works from 25th January through to mid-March, to inform the design of the building foundations for Plot K1. The surveys will involve a small number of site operatives and machinery/surveying equipment, as well as a welfare cabin. Working hours are standard hours permitted by Southwark Council – Monday to Friday, 8am – 6pm.

Changes to Keltbray’s working hours

Keltbray, British Land’s contractor who is building the interim petrol station on Deal Porters Way, has been granted a change to their working hours by Southwark Council, to respond to industry advice relating to COVID-19 around the use of public transport in order to allow their workforce to travel outside of peak times when using public transport and encourage other modes of travel. The new working hours are Monday to Friday, 8am – 7.30pm. Saturday workings hours remain unchanged (9am-2pm). Activities after 6pm shall be of generally lower noise impact than those permitted within standard hours. The situation will be kept under review and we will continue to share information as it is available.
