On 24 and 25 April, five trial trenches will be dug in the small section of Surrey Quays Shopping Centre car park opposite the shopping centre bus stops in the overflow car park close to Surrey Quays Station. These ground investigation works are to understand the existing ground conditions and composition, which will then feed into the design of the site and structures going forwards, as well as the exact location of any existing below-ground infrastructure. This will be carried out by EPS on behalf of British Land.
