The first Edible Rotherhithe Architecture Summer School is open for applications from local residents aged 16-24! The school will run from the 20th to the 25th of August in Canada Water.

The School, which is supported by British Land, gives young people the opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and experience in the built environment. 20 participants will gain practical experience of designing and building by working to a brief and exhibiting their work at the end of the programme. The learning and training will be overseen by architects and chartered engineers, who will also be on hand to offer advice on careers in the sector and to prospective university applicants.

No prior experience or knowledge is required- just an enthusiasm to learn. The project is free and open to 16-24 year olds living, studying or accessing community services in the local area. Applications from those in the local area will be prioritised.
