Investigation works – Surrey Quays Road
1 Minute Read
UPDATE – 5 June:
These works are due to commence from 6 June for four weeks. If you have any questions or would like to get in touch please find contact details here.
Due to a late conflict with securing working space on the public highway network, we need to reschedule our planned works to minimise inconvenience. This means that we will be redirecting our contractors’ resources on the 29th of May to work on a different area of our site. A further update will follow.
As part of a programme of works to determine ground conditions and locate the position of underground utilities as part of the Canada Water Masterplan, road works will be carried out at the junction of Surrey Quays Road and Deal Porters Way from 29 May until the week commencing 25 June 2018. During this period, temporary 4-way traffic lights will be in operation. This allows the westbound lane of Surrey Quays Road to be closed temporarily whilst these works are carried out in a safe manner.
The existing pedestrian crossing close to the Dock Offices will be out of use during this time and a temporary crossing facility provided to allow pedestrians to continue crossing the road safely. Temporary ramps will be provided giving full pedestrian access to the footway.
