Canada Water Masterplan planning application validated

Share this post:

Southwark Council has now validated the outline planning application that was recently submitted for the Canada Water Masterplan. This also includes a detailed planning application for the project’s first three buildings (A1, A2 and K1). More on the submission here.

The case reference number is 18/AP/1604 and the application can be viewed on Southwark Council’s Planning Register. The statutory consultation period has now begun. It is the opportunity to view all the planning documents and submit formal comments. Comments will then be taken into consideration by Southwark Council in their determination of the planning application. We have also included information on the planning application and some of the key planning documents on a new page on the Masterplan website which we hope is useful.

Planning Application drop-in sessions

In addition to Southwark Council’s statutory consultation process, we would like to ensure that the planning documents are easily available locally and help increase their accessibility for all, including those with commitments, limited internet access or less experience of the planning process. We will be holding a number of planning application drop-in events at the Canada Water Masterplan Hub (opposite Tesco) in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre where the planning documents will be available, and the team will be on hand to guide you to the information you need.
