Earlier this year, British Land launched a Consultant’s Charter setting out how our partners can help deliver our key legacy aims for the Canada Water Masterplan, as well as more immediate benefits to those who live and work in the area. As part of this commitment, Masterplan architects Allies and Morrison are currently offering local residents paid opportunities to gain skills and experience in business support and architecture at the busy, award-winning studio.

Applications for the two paid placements, which will start on 10 September 2018 and run for two weeks, have just opened:

Business support role

Applicants should be residents of Surrey Docks or Rotherhithe who are aged between 18 and 65, are currently unemployed or economically inactive and are enthusiastic about launching a career in business. The opportunities are paid at the London Living Wage rate. Find out more about the opportunity here and visit Allies and Morrison’s website for more information on the practice.

If you are interested in this opportunity, please send your CV and a cover letter, describing your interest in one of these opportunities and why you would like to be considered for an Allies and Morrison work placement to jobs@goodpeople.co.uk by 31 July 2018.

In addition, Allies and Morrison is also offering opportunities for young people who are interested in careers in architecture and design to undertake paid work experience placements at their offices. These will also run from Monday 10 September and the duration will be a minimum of two weeks. For an initial chat about these opportunities, please contact GoodPeople on 07946 514067.
