The Love Summer pop-up park features spaces to relax and enjoy a range of activities
Canada Water has an exciting new space to hang out in this summer, the Love Summer pop-up park, now open outside Surrey Quays Shopping Centre. The pop-up park is open to all, every day until Friday 26th August.
The space is hosting a varied and fun-packed programme of free social activities, workshops, DJs and live music. The pop-up park has a Chill Zone where there is space to relax with deck chairs, a bar and table tennis, as well as a Plant Room where there’s a varied events schedule each week. From children’s and adults’ art classes with Surrey Quays artist in residence Rod Kitson, to plant workshops with local business Plant&Person and yoga classes run by The Lodge, there’s something for everyone. All events are free, and check out our website and social media as we’ll be adding more events over the summer – www.canadawater.co.uk/lovesummer
The pop-up park forms part of British Land’s continued commitment towards the people who live, work and spend time in Canada Water, with health and wellbeing central to its vision for London’s newest and most sustainable town centre.
Edward Cree, Head of Asset Management for British Land’s Canada Water development, said: “Summer is finally here, and what better way to enjoy the English sunshine than at London’s newest pop-up, Canada Water’s Summer Park. Surrounded by an abundance of lush green spaces and docks, Canada Water’s Summer Park will include weekly cultural activities, and a mix of up-and-coming talent, providing endless entertainment which is fun, free and welcoming for everyone to enjoy.”
