The Arch welcomes complete beginners and experienced climbers alike

Fancy trying a new adventure sport? Come down to The Arch Climbing Wall, Canada Water’s brand-new facility, which is now open to the public.

Located in the former Dorothy Perkins and Burtons units of Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, the climbing centre adds to the growing health and wellbeing offering at the 53-acre development being brought forward by British Land.

The 7,500 sq ft space offers a bold new vision for indoor bouldering, while providing vibrantly designed interactive and social spaces for visitors to enjoy. A broad range of walls cater to all levels of ability – from complete beginners keen to try a new form of exercise, to experienced climbers looking to improve their technique and push their limits.

The centre caters for people from the local community and beyond. Various single sessions and memberships are available, starting from £5. Regular family days are available for the whole community to get involved in and for new climbers, free Improver Sessions are available to join most days. Climbing shoes and liquid chalk can be hired on site ahead of each session for a cost of £3.

The Arch will also be offered free of charge for community groups to use at certain times of the week, so that the space is accessible to everyone.*

Pop into the Canada Water reception and speak to the knowledgeable staff who can advise which options will be the right fit. Alternatively, please visit www.archclimbingwall.com for further information.
