British Land have donated 15 iPads to two of our local partner organisations, to help them carry out their vital work in the local community.
Bizzie Bodies, the Community Interest Company who help local young people access free or low-cost education to develop STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) and language skills, received 10 of the iPads to use with their Youth Tech Hub Group. The iPads will be used by young people to access educational apps, resources and interactive learning, develop their digital skills and collaborate on projects,
Restorative justice-focused organization RJ4ALL, who run a community centre in SE16, received five iPads to use for their wellbeing services.
Bizzie Bodies founder Emilie Mendy said: “We are incredibly grateful for the donation of iPads to our Youth Tech and Creative Hub. These devices will provide our young people with invaluable tools to explore their creativity, learn new skills, and stay engaged with the latest technological advancements. This support is crucial in helping us to inspire and empower the next generation of tech-savvy leaders.”
