Canada Water Charter Topic Session
1 Minute Read
Please join us at a Topic Session in March to discuss how we can ensure that the physical changes brought about by the Canada Water Masterplan go hand in hand with long term social, economic and health benefits for those who live, work or spend time in the Canada Water area. We are developing a Canada Water Charter which will set out how we will work, together with the council, community and stakeholders to do this. The charter so far has been informed by ongoing work and many years of local input and discussion and we would like your input in developing this further.
Join us on Thursday 8 March, from 7-9pm at the CWM Hub opposite Tesco in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, to discuss what the charter means and share your priorities for the long term. Please RSVP for the event if you can.
Community input and insight sits at the heart of the charter. As part of this first stage to help us better understand local social and economic conditions, research has been undertaken by Social Life, a Southwark-based social enterprise company. Their findings will be shared during the session.
We’ll also be holding local pop-up events ahead of the Topic Session where British Land will be on hand to discuss your thoughts on the priorities and ideas so far. Please find full details below.
